Rameshwarnath Tulsi Krit Hanuman Mandir is a non-profit organization, actively fulfilling the spiritual, cultural, and social needs of the Hindu community of Chitrakut.

The Rameshwarnath Tulsi Krit Hanuman Mandir located in Chitrakut,Vallée Des Prêtres is about 6 miles from Port-Louis,the capital city of Mauritius. A Ram Bhakta donated the site for this temple and it was constructed in 1989 and had blossomed into being one of the famous temples of the island. The Mandir was rebuilt in 1998 and is open daily with Aarti conducted twice a day. Shiv Abhisek is performed 12 times annually according to Masik Shivratri dates in the Hindu calendar and Ram Katha is performed every Tuesday at the Mandir from 19.30 - 21.00.

Priests:

Pandit Rajen Mohabeer Ji, the mandir priest, performs poojas, conducts many religious ceremonies for the Mandir is available for all your pooja needs.
Shri Acharya Chaitanya Ji is the the priest who has been conducting the Navratri at the Mandir for the last two years.

The Mandir also organises seminars in which distinguised personalities are invited. Projects for providing a public library and a music class for Hindus is also being worked upon.

The Mandir organizes several cultural functions every year and celebrates major Hindu festivals including Holi, Janmashtami, and Deepawali, and supports any organisation who is trying to perform cultural events in the area.

The Executive Committee oversees the administration of the Mandir and is assisted by the coordinators and members of various Committees.

The organization has an active youth wing, who are learning about the Hindu Dharma. They are being prepared to be ready to take the leadership of the Mandir in the future.

The Rameswarnath Tulsi Krit Hanuman Mandir Mandali is the group of singers formed by its members, who perform at national level and are famous for Ramayan chanting.
