Transformation of the self

  The fundamental  aim  of  spirituality

The basic aim of spirituality is not to provide material comfort with official or social status to man but to debar him from animalistic inclinations  or pashuvriti

and to bring him to the divine perfection by the grace of Pashupati,  one who rules over the entire nature

including man and other living entities.

Pashupati is among the multiple names of  Lord Shiva Himself  whose grace tames all animalism

to allow discovering the better man within oneself.

It is therefore requisite for all aspirants to improve all behavioural attitudes

to experience from gradual to a maximum of self-transformation

and only then one can expect other achievements.

Mirror gives the opportunity to see oneself from head to toe  and to improve the physical look

but unfortunately it does not touch the inner self at all,

which remains all the same even after great adornment.

Spirituality works just like an invisible mirror that exposes the secret truths silently

and gives the opportunity to transform the inner being.

Thus yogic meditation is being face to face with the insidious self  to observe the entire internal reality of oneself

and to consolidate or change  the self from one bit to the whole.

Purification and transformation of the self are the two facets of the same coin  and both give the value of realisation.

When this is the base of the spiritual path,

divinity is bound to bring the new man with plenty of perfection in every field of life.

And if religiosity or rituals do not work to this end  then it is sure that the tram is not on the rail

and the slightest movement is to be considered beforehand.

Perfection of the self is the target of every spiritual path

and the whole play is to cash it sooner or later depending on the degree of acknowledgement by the seeker.

After all, only the readiness of the person is responsible to alter the entirety.

The initial obstacle which bars the way is the agenda of material gain

prior to the expansion of light symbolising purification and divinisation as illustrated above.

The consumer culture along with the media tic prevalence all around,

every common mind wants to try the finish product prior to any settlement.

This is not the reality of spiritual path but the contrary is true.

Yet the spiritual gateway is open to all equally

and even the non-spiritual-minded one is not deprived to embrace the field of divinity.

One whose inner self is transformed or purified is not far away  but always near about the Supreme Being

and he is not devoid of the spiritual possessions over-there.

He needs not to beg even for rare and valuable things.

All is added unto ye.

Every thing goes smoothly according to His will

and waves of inner satisfaction reaches everyone  at one time or the other to fulfil the uttered or silent desires.

Purification or transformation of the self is the engine of spirituality

and all material gain is no more than the wagon following the engine of the tramway.

As far as dedicated followers are concerned,  one can hardly move on the path if the cart is in front of the ox.

Yet very often He decides otherwise challenging or ignoring all logics  to satisfy even the so-called atheists or outsiders.

Transformation of the self offers multi-dimensional benefits.

Penetrating deeper into the feeling of the internal or external beauty,

is likely to be common among the unfailing ones.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

The above dictum is true  when one has a place for beauty in his heart

otherwise it gives a whole distortion of the same beauty.

Life itself is so beautiful that it really overflows with meanings and completeness

to all those who see it as a joyful and graceful reality.

Deeper the insight or the transformation of the self,  better the world is to the eye and the heart.

Thus if beauty is not explicit within oneself and does not expand in the depth of life,

It is only the mentioned transformation of the self

that reaches the layers of beauty to make it speak profusely.
