We welcome travelers and try to give them as meaningful as possible a stay in our country following the ideals of SERVAS. 

Travellers please  

Pay for any telephone calls you make, including local. Don't ask for accomodation at the last minute from hosts who need prior notice. 

Contact hosts if you change your plans and send a " thank you" card or letter to hosts you have visited.Please don't phone hosts before 7.30 a.m or after 9.30 p.m

Travel Reductions

There is a 30% - 60% airfare reduction for the African Explorer if the ticket is bought overseas for SAA planes with 4-8 stops, travelling in a circular direction for up to one month.

AND THERE ARE CERTAIN AIRFARE REDUCTIONS 

Trains. TRAINS HAVE REDUCED FARES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS, . 

Buses. Intercape. Greyhound, Translux cover most of the country.
WITH A Baz Buses ticket, YOU CAN HOP ON AND OFF AS OFTEN AS YOU LIKE ALONG THE ROUTE. YOU GET PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF AT THE DOOR OF YOUR BACKPACKER HOSTEL
