Eid Milan Party and National Meeting of Servas Pakistan


On the gratifying evening of 11 September 2011, members of Servas Pakistan met at Jadeed Pakistan Islamic School, Mandiala Warraich Gujranwala, to celebrate the Eid Milan Party and National meeting of Servas Pakistan.


More than 30 members across Pakistan attended the meeting.


The meeting began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Mr. Imran ul Huda (Regional Coordinator Baluchistan)


Mr. Shahzad Akhtar Siddiqui (Deputy Secretary) Mr. Imran ul Huda (Regional Coordinator Baluchistan) Mr. Muhammad Amjad (Information Secretary) Mr. Nauman Naseem (Youth Contact) Mr. Muhammad Afzal (Host Member) Mr. Muhammad Shoaib Khan (National Secretary) and Mr. Muhammad Naseem (Area Coordinator SCWA) addressed to the meeting regarding peace and other Servas activities in Pakistan and SCWA region.


Mr. Shahzad Akhtar Siddiqui and Mian Muhammad Afzal shared their travel experiences about the SE and SW Asia peace tour and gave us their valuable suggestions to uplift the Servas in the region. Mr. Nauman Naseem (Youth Contact) introduced the newly created Servas Pakistan Youth blog dedicated to Servas youth.


Mr. Imran ul Huda (Regional Coordinator Baluchistan) briefed about the Servas activities in Quetta and the current situation in Balochistan.


Mr. Muhammad Shoaib Khan, National Secretary of Servas Pakistan paid his thanks to the members for their keen interest regarding Servas activities within Pakistan. He said that we must increase the number of good members in Servas family in order to spread peace in this region and on a global level, in an efficient manner. And this noble objective is only possible, with the sheer efforts and dedication of the members. At the end he thanked all members and visitors who attended the meeting, especially to Mian Muhammad Afzal for hosting the Eid Milan Party and National meeting.


The honorable Area Coordinator Mr. Muhammad Naseem addressed the meeting and stressed on the need of peace for humanity.
All members congratulated Mr. Muhammad Naseem on being elected as AC for SCWA. A shield was presented to the Honorable Area Coordinator by the National Secretary on behalf of Servas Pakistan.


The meeting ended with some refreshments and the scrumptious B. B.Q.


In the end I would like to say that this national get-together was a complete success. Not only we had a great celebration and the pleasure of meeting different honorable and new members all over Pakistan, but we also got the chance to discuss some future agendas and planning for the upcoming events and activities.
