This year, it will be the 44 years since Her Majesty Princess Margaret
laid the first stone of what is now The Royal College Port-Louis. But
the history of such a prestigious institution does not begin in the
late 1950's as many may think. It dates up to the 18th century during
the french occupation of the island.
