Sociology can be
defined as the study of society and its members. The sociology department
at Royal College Port-Louis is quite recent. Up till third form the
subject is compulsory. Both students and teachers are of the opinion
that the subject is an interesting one and will enhance one's vision
of society and thus helping the person to have a better comprehension
of the world around him.
