Studio Productions, Mauritius, originally started with a simple electronic synthesizer...until today
where a totally professional studio has been built. Mantra Studio Productions
has produced its first and new release, the album 'mantra-tat'. The studio is directed by
Mr. Tadeswar Gobin. "We are really proud of our new release and many more is
in the pipeline!"
' mantra-tat
', the first new album comprises of 7 songs created by Kabir Gobin aged 18 years
old. He has composed, performed, arranged, recorded, mastered the above songs.
He is accompanied in two of his compositions by two professional percussionists
namely, Nada Cunden on the tabla and Mayeven Murden on the mridangam.
'
mantra-tat ' features a blend of occidental and oriental music. Be it soft
catchy tunes mixing harmoniously with a strong western bass and beat along with
the tabla and mridangam in the background or breathtaking orchestrated music,
Kabir's strong sense of creativity and musical arrangement coupled with training
in both occidental and Indian music has made it all possible.

offers a totally new dimension to the musical platform of the island and is
surely a symbol of the modern, multicultural Mauritius.
