BLOOD DONATION – YEAR 2007

The Kyokushinkai Martial Arts Federation of Mauritius held its blood donation day on the 11th of February at Dr. Idriss Goomanee centre of Port Louis.

The event began at around 0900 AM and lasted up till noon.

"Give your blood and save a life", taking this quote into consideration, many blood donors were mobilised and participated in the event and made it a success. The centre accommodated about 70 donors all along the 3 hrs. Mostly, people came from the region of port Louis but however there were the presence of donors from region other than port louis and thus showing their interest to donate their blood.

Members and volunteers of kyokushin karate were present on that day, participating, donating blood and helping in making the event a successful one.

People have realised about the necessity of giving blood in order to remain in good health and more importantly to save the life of people who are in needs.

The event was of great success due to the participation of the donors and the kyokushin members.

So, a big thanks goes to everyone who in one way or another has helped in making our blood donation 2007 a success!!!
