Overcoming weaknesses. Learning courtesy. All those things make children stronger both physically and mentally. You are probably a student and your spare time is largely limited. Why would you want to get involved in Kyokushin training? Training dramatically increases norepinephrine, a stress reducing substance, levels in the body. An overall increase in energy may also be attributed to training as a result of the body's increase in blood pressure and consequent increase of oxygen delivery to the brain. A balance of strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular training dramatically improves various aspects of one's physique, delivering a feeling of personal satisfaction. Production of endorphins within the body increases during training. In short, only a healthy body can nourish a healthy mind. Kyokushin Karate for adults: Build self-confidence, self-control and self-defense. Get yourself in shape. Competing in tournaments is popular among men and women worldwide. Kyokushin Karate is perhaps the most dynamic of all Martial Arts...and it's one of the very best forms you can learn. You'll be instructed in self-defense techniques that were perfected over 250 years ago and have been passed down from generation to generation. As you progress from one level to the next (on your way to Black Belt) you'll be taught by highly qualified, friendly instructors. Tone your body and keep physically fit. When you learn the Kyokushin techniques, you'll build up your endurance, quicken your reflexes and turn 'fat' into highly toned muscle. When you start training Kyokushin you will soon notice an increased awareness about your physical and mental well being. Because Kyokushin Karate trains your MIND as well as your body, you'll also learn how to become mentally stronger. You'll learn self-control techniques, how to handle (and release) unwanted stress AND as a result, you'll be far more confident dealing with day-to-day situations.
