Launch of Report on "Impact of Internet on Children"
Internet Child Safety Foundation has launched a Report following a research study carried out by the Foundation. The Launching ceremony has been carried out at Le Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel in Port Louis, Mauritius. The Report was launched by the Minister of Information, Communication & Technology. Other guests present were H.E the South African High Commissioner, Representative of the British High Commission, representative of the French Embassy, Lord Mayor of the City and stakeholders in the ICT industry.
This report, of 79 pages, is the first of its kind being done in Mauritius. The findings of the Report has been presented to the public during the ceremony.

ICSF, as a NGO, provides advice and guidelines to parents and young persons on the proper use of Internet. Safe Surfing CampaignSafe Surfing Campaign aims at encouraging safer use of the internet to every spectrum of the society. This campaign highlights the dangers associated with Internet and the need to protect children from hazards online.
The campaign has been organised in several regions of the country and ICSF has already reached some five thousand people since its beginning.
