Our aim is to bring you all the endemic plants and ferns of MAURITIUS, which are around 161 in all. However due to time constraint, we have focused ourselves on those endemics found only in MONDRAIN nature reserve. Soon, we will be dealing with those endemics found in other nature reserves and those found on the islets surrounding Mauritius. We will also be bringing to you the endemics of Rodrigues island.
 

Our next update will include more articles, namely from Miss D. Florens, Mr J.C. Sevathian and Dr (Mrs) B.A.F Gurib-Fakim amongst others. We shall also be dealing on the bichemical constituents of some of these endemic species and also on their economical and medicinal importance.
