It is a
well-branched shrub or bush that can be 0.6 to 5 mm in height. The branches
are pale grey and form longitudinal grooves. The stipules have a large base,
measure 2 mm and are deciduous. The leaves are petiolate with the petioles
measuring 1 to 4 mm. The leaf lamina is oblong, oval to elliptical-oblong, is
1.5 to 14.5 cm by 1 to 9 cm, rounded to pointed at the tip and truncated at
the base. Venation pattern is prominent and the leaf surface is smooth. Inflorescence
is terminal or in pairs. The pedicels are pink, 2 to 3.5 mm long and
puberulent. The calyx as well is pinkish and puberulent. The corolla is white
and tinged with pink, especially on the outer tube surface. The tube can
