An AppleOver 2400 years ago, Hippocrates, the father of medicine, said,"Let living (natural) food be thy medicine".In these simple words,he tried to explain that in raw fruits and vegetables lie the essential drugs to control and fight human ailments more effectively.It has been proved that proper nutrition in the natural way is the key to our survival.

It has been found that persons who live only on natural foods,i.e. raw fruits and vegetables, live longer without any ailment in the body .On the other hand, persons who live only on cooked foods get frequent attacks from bodily ailments. Cooking destroys the natural vitamins and minerals present in the fruits and vegetables. The heat of cooking is not the only way to kill food enzymes and nutrients. Excess acidity in the stomach also destroys their effectiveness.

The easiest way to add living enzymes of the right type is to eat ripefruits and uncooked vegetables. Cooked and processed food does not provide the complex structure of the protein molecules and destroys the associated enzymes necessary for their utilisation. It would be better if we take raw fruits and vegetable juices in order to keep our body healthy and fit. Vitamin C is easily destroyed by heat and chemicals.

It has been found that raw fruit and vegetable juices clear our body of its waste products if taken in adequate amount. Waste products are toxic in our body and is the main cause of all diseases. Therefore detoxification of the whole body is necessary for good health and to maintain stability. But always bear in mind that one should wash ones fruits and vegetables before consumption.
