Formula (II)

This formula leaves the right face (R) untouched while moving cubie A to cubie B as shown in Fig. 24:    M-  B+  M+  B-  M-  B-  M+  B-  M-  2B  M+

You will use these two formulae whenever appropriate by checking the state of the Cube. However, there is one intermediate state (see Fig. 25) which lets you know that the Cube will be completed by applying Formula (II) followed immediately by Formula (I).

Second formula


Hold the Cube as shown in Fig. 25 and apply Formula (II). You will remember that the right face (R) (green in the figure), will be unmoved during the process. When you're finished, rotate the Cube so that the right face (R) becomes the front face (F) as shown in Fig. 26. Now apply Formula (I) and shazaam! The Cube is completed!!!
