INTRODUCTION
Mauritius
is a small tropical island surrounded by a brightly coloured tropical sea,
enhanced by golden beaches and covered with swaying fields of sugarcane,with
a wealth of forrests full of wonderful birds. Animals and plants live in the
open valleys, in the dense forests,on the beach and in the sea.
Being a tropical island, it also has
a large variety of fruits, either wild ones(Goyave de Chine, [French word])
or those cultivated on purpose (Mangoes, litchis, pineapples, etc...). Their
trees mostly start bearing their fruits as from October, during the summer
months, until January or February
